0. Spyro Team Art Appreciation Thread February 7th, 2010, 7:47 pm
This is an official art thread for Spyro fans to show their appreciation of their favorite purple dragon to Mike Graham and the Spyro Team in Activision by showing fanart they want to show. So if anyone has a Spyro fanart they want to show to the Spyro Team, they can post the links to the art here.
No pornagraphic material, no hate comments, nor heated design debates. And no posting someone's else artwork, please.

It came out ok I guess, I dont have the right software yet to do good shading or I still havent found out how to shade correctly on my drawings yet haha. Well hope you guys like it. -

Hi S240sx24! Hi Aura!
I have art too that I would like to share!
NOTE!!!!: I am in charge of a Club on deviantArt and I make some art SPECIFICALLY FOR THE CLUB!!!! That is why it has "Old Spyro Club" on it.
This was a contest that I designed for my Group at the OSC to do. I dubbed it Midnight Masquerade. Everyone had to draw, sketch, carve, or spit Spyro in any way possible to resemble another Character. In Other words, draw Spyro as another Character. Ben10, Goku, Inyuyasha, Scooby Doo, Master Chief, Chuck Norris...it didnt matter, as long as it was awesome. I really did this to see how most thought Spyro could be drawn.
My results: Most didn't know that Spyro has ALWAYS had an Antropomorphic design.

Sure post whatever spyro art you have sounds great i'll have to check your fan club out. i have a DA account at the moment. but not much on there due to life issues haha, feel free to post your art im sure the spyro team will appreciate what art you have. -

This next one is my lame attempt on showing people how to draw a teenage InsOmniac Spyro.
I have NEVER liked the artist's definition of "Free Hand" Drawing.....
"...draw this square here...then draw this triangle...draw this line there and connect the objects.
Now you have a Circle!"
Like I said I hate their Stupid definition of free hand. I really dont know how to do a "How to Draw Spyro" thing BUT I did the next best thing...

I may not be much of a Spyro fan these days, but I did over 500 pieces of Spyro fanart in the course of the two or so years I was active in the fandom and playing the LoS games. If you do a search in my gallery for "Spyro", "Cynder", or just about any character from the franchise as a whole, you'll probably find something.

DANG DUDE!!!! THAT IS PRETTY SWEET!!!!
Your Colors are solid and the shading is slick as glass and none of the lines are jagged and blurry. The only thing that your picture suffers from is Low Resolution which is a easy correct.
As far as the rest, RIGHTEOUS JOB!!!
If that's your first time drawing on the computer then you got quite a deviantArt filled Adventure ahead of you!!!!
